Carshalton
The Sutton Parks team chose HAGS to enhance Carshalton park with inclusive amenities. Our approach to inclusive play allowed us to unleash our creativity in proposing a design that would cater to diverse needs. With a rich portfolio of play equipment, HAGS demonstrates its dedication to creating accessible and enjoyable outdoor spaces for all children.
HAGS’s proposal started with the unique Mirage Revolution, a cutting-edge play structure, designed for innovative play which fosters physical activity, imagination, and social interaction among children of all abilities. Its inclusive features and adaptable heights, accommodating wheelchair transfers, ensure that children with varying needs can play together seamlessly.
Complementing this centre piece is the Dragonfly Seesaw, injecting an element of excitement, balance, and collaboration into the playground. This particular piece has quickly become a favourite among children, encouraging cooperative play.
To stimulate children's senses and cognitive development, HAGS integrated sensory play panels and musical instruments throughout the playground. These features offer a range of tactile, visual, and auditory experiences, inviting children to explore, learn, and enjoy themselves.
Other inclusive play units include:
• Rain wheel.
• Glockenspiel musical panel.
• Puppy maze play panel.
• Three conga drums, and a tango seat for parents and toddlers.
