Chamberlain Way, St. Neots

Updating a compact playground

St. Neots Town Council was keen to update their small playground accessible from two roads, Chamberlain Way and Topham Court. The playground is surrounded by a large open space with plenty of shade and this provided inspiration for HAGS designers to create five new playground features to compliment the area.

Diverse range of play equipment

A great range of equipment was included in the design including:

- A bespoke multplay-unit – providing opportunities to climb, slide and traverse on multiple levels

- A “Lucky” rocking horse

- A “Tic Tac Toe” Play Panel

- A “Hilly” 4 user toddler seesaw

- A set of “Mira” swings for all ages

- A “Spinner” spinning cup roundabout

All this was installed onto a brand new all-weather rubber safety surfacing. The playground has doubled its play value options and increased its user capacity.
