Bright colourful Vison

Bright and colourful Glemsford Play Area is located next to the community centre of the same name, which has just gone through a refurbishment and extension.

The brief was to create fun and stimulating playgrounds for all ages and add additional equipment to create a bright and colourful play area for the community.

Based on consultation results, HAGS introduced a mixture of climbing equipment for all ages, a balance trail, musical instruments, Roty spinner and most importantly a large mixture of swings for all ages and abilities.

An all-weather solution was vital to offer an all-year, all-weather solution which offered inclusion, increased swinging, climbing, rotating and multi-generational use. Ground graphics which would support the children’s physical fitness were also important.
