A key community asset

Wokingham Town Council had recently agreed on a new program to ensure a 10-yearly renewal of play parks. Following public consultation, HAGS design was chosen due to its attention to details in fulfilling the brief along with the maximisation of play opportunities their design provided.

The Titan 5-armed Swing – a great alternative to a zipwire

One of the most sought-after items, requested in the public engagement, was a zipwire. However, this was not appropriate in the setting. However, HAGS suggestion of a 5-armed Titan swing which enable more children to play simultaneously than a zipwire and was more inclusive went down brilliantly with the local children and adults alike!

Understanding the Vision and Solving Problems

“Working with Jilly and then the wider HAGS team, including Project Managers Ben and Tom, and contractors has been good, with open communication and attention to detail.

Where there were issues or concerns solutions were sought, agreed, and actioned in a timely manner.

While we had some issues caused by the Covid pandemic and weather disruption the installation went smoothly.

HAGS also helped us provide an official opening with children joining from three of the local schools, who couldn’t wait to get on the equipment and enjoy their new play park.”
