Tynewydd School, Newbridge

HAGS have recently installed a bespoke MUGA worth £18K for Tynewydd Primary School, located in Newbridge, Wales who wanted to increase physical activity in the school. Head Teacher, Kate Olsen, requested a fully-enclosed court which would fit into the corner of the school playground.

The design also had to consider local residents as the school playground is situated close to houses. HAGS adapted the design to incorporate the back wall of the school yard as one of the boundaries walls and flat goals to allow the school to optimize its outdoor space.

Following the success of the project, HAGS were also awarded the contract for Phase Two and will be installing Uniplay Aureli unit and 2.4m Cone Climber.
