Woodlesford Recreation Ground, Leeds

The local community within Woodlesford have recently been provided with a great new play area when Groundwork Leeds (on behalf of Leeds City Council) asked HAGS to redevelop the existing play area at Woodlesford Recreation Ground.

The brief was simple – to remove a tired, old and worn play area with a new, robust and modern play area to enhance the wider park. The play area needed to cater for a range of ages (from toddlers to juniors) and a range of abilities.

Mark Gornall, Area Sales Manager, included a range of equipment in the design where children can play, explore, socialise, grow and develop through the experience of a wide range of play values and opportunities.

Equipment includes the inclusive Spinmee roundabout, a UniMini multiplay unit, swings featuring a Tango Seat and springers. More challenging for the older children is the Nexus Altitude 11S and the Tornado. The area is completed with fun thermo markings.

The completed play area has created a fantastic new facility that the local community can utilise and enjoy!
